About Us

Breathless Paper Co. is the passion project and creative endeavor of partners in crime, Jessica and Matthew Berinato. The husband and wife team pours every ounce of wit, laughter and heart they have into creating the perfect design for their paper goods, from greeting cards to coasters.

Jess has been sending cards her whole life, and really thinks the world just needs more love notes. So, when the opportunity presented itself to collaborate with her graphic designer husband and fulfill her “more love notes” dream, she took it. Matt’s design background coupled with Jess’s entrepreneurial spirit proved to be the ideal combination for starting a successful paper company.

What began with just wedding invites and baby announcements evolved into a run of twenty greeting card designs carried locally, and now to nine card lines carried nationally and internationally, plus coasters, napkins, gifts, and more. Now carried in 1,000+ retailers and sold online, Matt and Jess couldn’t have dreamed that they’d have the level of success and support that they do today.

In 2017, Breathless Paper Co. celebrated its 10th birthday. The past 10 years have been nothing short of a labor of love and laughter. At the core, Breathless Paper is about facilitating an environment centered around sharing love and kindness — something the world always needs more of. Jess and Matt never want to promote negativity or judgement, only open minds and humility. They carry out these philosophies in their home — where they raise two beautiful children, River and Scout — and throughout all aspects of their business.
